The 666 T-Shirt is a consideration on how different cultures differ in their conceptualizations of a number or definition of a phrase. For to religious reasons, in the West 666 is referred to as the devils’ number and is usually associated with bad luck or foul play. However, in China 666 is representative of the word with the same pronunciation, “流” (liu), which means “flow like a river” and is used to indicate when something is well done. The front panel character is the number 6 in Mandarin.
